Drinking water for
cruising yachts, drinking water for sail boats.
Portable,
self contained water makers / desalinators.
No electrics or
installation required.
Drinking water is produced
by towing the unit behind the vessel on its hollow tow line. It takes in sea
water, desalinates a portion of it and pumps drinking water aboard via the tow
line. The rejected saline is discharged back to the sea. Only drinking water
comes aboard.
Drinking water produced by
water power
Drinking water is made by water power as the vessel moves through the water. The drag penalty for the
average 12M (40 foot) sailboat is one mile lost for every 11 hours in use. As
they are typically used for one to three hours per day, the lost distance run is
of no significance. These yacht watermakers are completely self contained, are
fully portable, use no electrics and require no installation.
Drinking water needed ?
Just tow it awhile....
