Used watermaker: Pre-owned, factory rebuilt watermakers sometimes become available. These are always zero hour with new running gear and pumps. 

A used watermaker is fitted with new membrane elements.  Any major cosmetic damage is dealt with, however, there will inevitably be cosmetic imperfections which are usually only noticeable on closer inspection. Otherwise, these secondhand watermakers are perfect, and indistinguishable from new.

Pre owned watermakers are fully rebuilt and undergo the same rigorous test regime prior to dispatch as any new unit off the production line.
