To attach the motor, just slip it on your Waterlog
At anchor or becalmed and need drinking water?

1: Place the Waterlog on a sail bag (stops it rolling about) and insert it into the motor housing.
2: Pull out the storage blanking plug and insert the drinking water output tube.
3: Hang the waterlog in the water using the ring on the top of the motor
(Usually suspended from the boom held slightly outboard by a preventer).

Snap the rugged clamps onto the ships battery terminals. Brown + Blue -

Drinking water is delivered aboard via the drinking water output tube.
The motor is compact, easily carried and stowed in a locker.
In use, the motor is above the water, however, the build specification has nominal water protection to 27 fathoms (50 M). Diameter 16cm, (7") Weight 12 Kg. (26 Lbs). If ordered separately, there is an additional packing & handling charge of $20 (Euro 20) (£12). For emergency use if becalmed, or the available drinking water is unsafe. Polarity may be reversed but it is suggested that same polarity be maintained each time it is used: Brown Positive, Blue Negative, in the interests of maximizing brush life. Typical current draw is circa 20 Amps @ 12V depending on temperature, salinity and other factors.
