Electric motor accessory

The motor fits any 100, 200 or 300 Waterlog

No tools are required. Time taken to convert from water drive to battery drive is typically about two minutes.

Place the Waterlog on a sail bag or other soft surface. This prevents it moving about while attaching the motor if the vessel is rolling in a sea swell.

Remove impeller                 Remove filter ring           Slide off filter cover

Insert waterlog into motor                               Slide out blanking plug

Hang the unit in the water, from the boom, slightly outboard of the hull in the position shown in the photograph above. Stabilize the boom with a preventer.

Immediately on disconnecting from the battery bank, raise the unit a little if it is not going to be taken back aboard. The motor will be warm - this is normal.
