Please note:- Credit card payments, although debited from your account are not confirmed until 21 days have elapsed, i.e., the card company retains the funds for that time to ensure that the card is not being used without the cardholders consent. This is an anti-fraud safety mechanism to protect the card holder as, in this instance, the cardholder is not present, there is no signature, the amount is in excess of $1,000, is normally an International transaction and frequently for a yacht in transit - i.e. no fixed delivery address.
Accordingly, if you pay by credit card, please allow approximately 23 to 60 days for delivery, depending on the country and which method of delivery you choose, i.e., economy surface mail, airmail or courier. Please note that dispatch times do not include normally recognized business holiday periods.
Bankers cheques can take up to 12 working days to clear. Inter bank transfers can take from 2 to 10 days to clear depending on country of origin.
On dispatch, goods are the property of the buyer and transit risks are for the buyer. Any delays, damage in transit or local delivery issues are a matter between the buyer and the carrier. Insurance is available if requested.
